Welcome to A Fragile Line, an Alternate Universe Hogwarts RPG! We've taken things back a bit, and set our site in the midst of Tom Riddle's last years of school. Coincidentally, his sixth and seventh years align with the beginning of World War II, and the "reign" of Grindelwald.
If you have any questions, visit our FAQ section; if the answer you're seeking isn't there, ask your question and a staff member will reply as soon as possible.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizdary
The Great Hall Gloriously decorated for all occasions, the Great Hall is where all of the students are fed, and they're often enlightened there, as well.
Classrooms and Offices (2 sub-boards) The Academic Wing of the school is often cramped with confused first years, proud second and third years, bamboozled prefects, and the rest of the unorganized lot of students.

Hogsmeade
The Hogsmeade Rail Station The train station that all Hogwarts students know and ... appreciate, at the very least. No other traffic frequents it during the year.

Zonko's Joke Shop Zonko's is a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop. They carry "jokes and tricks to fulfill even Fred's and George's wildest dreams," including Dungbombs, Hiccup Sweets, Frog Spawn Soap, and Nose-Biting Teacups.

Madame Puddifoot's Tea Shoppe A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located just off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples.

Honeyduke's Sweetshop A sweetshop, owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, which is filled with "shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable." In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge and chocolate. For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends.

The Three Broomsticks A well-known inn and a frequent haunt of Hogwarts students. It's warm and comfortable, is packed constantly, and is a great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella.

The Post Office Thought it's really not needed for much, the Hogsmeade post office sits next to Madame Puddifoot's and has the occasional blushing student or frazzled professor for a customer. The larger of student packages, (and the naughtier), are shipped here; as are most of the books, cauldrons, and other school supplies for the professors.

Rosewood Manor The ancestral home of the McGongall clan it is the home to both Hephaestus Tam McGongall, and Minerva Caitríona.
The gardens are a testament to their mother's green thumb being covered in various colors of rose bushes, candytufts, baby's breath, lilies and nearly every other magical or muggle plant one could think of.

London
Stockwell Orphanage Stockwell Orphanage in London is the home tTom Riddle during his childhood years. The orphanage is a square building surrounded by high railings. It is run-down, but clean, and the oprhans are well cared for. Once a year the orphans enjoy a holiday to the seaside during the summer holidays from their classes. Despite all this young Riddle despises this place and for the most part remains at Hogwarts throughout the year, summer or school year.

The Countryside
Ivy Residence Only an hour's fly from the White Cliffs of Dover, the Manor stands tall and proud against the rolling background of lush green hills. The four story, twenty-two room house is delicately trimmed with the most beautiful of ivies, some sprouting blossoms while others wrapping their greenery around the sturdy marble columns that surround the house and support the roof. The interior reflects the previous owners' obvious rank in society; fine furniture of oak, mahogany, and cherry wood fill every room, and each lavatory has ornate tile patterns that run across the floor, and in two of the ten bathrooms, flow up the walls and o the ceiling. The ball room, which was originally a library before the Ivys bought the home, is the most immaculate room in the house, and was often used for elaborate parties and balls.
The gardens are filled with endless flowers ranging from lilies to roses to sunflowers, each bringing its own breath of life to the heavenly acreage.
